Thank you for using “Dash for Tesla” (the “App”). This App is designed to communicate with your Tesla vehicle via Bluetooth and provide key/dashboard related features.
We highly respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data related to you.
The App does not require you to create an account, nor do we build a direct personal profile on our own servers. The App may access or process the following information on your device or via system APIs:
- Device information: e.g., device model and OS version, used only for compatibility and feature adaptation.
- Bluetooth-related data: used to scan and connect to your Tesla vehicle, not intended to identify you personally.
- Location permission: on some system versions, Bluetooth scanning may rely on location permission. This is only used to enable Bluetooth connectivity, not to track your real-world location.
- Runtime logs and crash reports: may be collected via system or common crash-reporting services to fix issues and improve stability.
We use the above information solely for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the core features of the App (e.g., Bluetooth communication with your vehicle).
- To ensure security and stability, and to diagnose crashes and errors.
- To improve user experience and performance.
- The App primarily processes and stores data locally on your device and does not actively upload your personal data to self-hosted servers.
- If system-level or common crash-reporting tools are used, anonymized crash logs may be sent to the corresponding service providers solely for debugging and analysis.

- We will not disclose your data to unrelated third parties unless required by applicable laws or necessary to protect your legitimate rights or the rights of others.
- You may revoke the App’s permissions (such as Bluetooth and Location) at any time in your system settings. Some features may no longer function properly after revocation.
- You may uninstall the App at any time to remove data stored locally on your device.
